Love Ourselves!

Few years ago I was being a guinea pig for my friend to practice fire cupping on my back, which left an half moon shaped scar on my shoulder. I used to think it was very ugly, and often tried to hide it. But then I realized every scar from the past actually matures us. Often people say love requires bravery, and many of us may interpreted as pursuing it recklessly and even disregard of our own well-being. Sometimes, bravery could also be letting go. Let go of things or people that don’t mean to be. It requires courage to let go, and walk away from a toxic situation or people. But pad yourself on the shoulder for the brave step of self-love. Instead of being spiteful of those who have hurt us in the past. Let’s thank them for the lessons of life that strengthened us. Thank them for teaching us the importance of self-love. When we love ourselves, we accept ourselves as an unique and special lovely beings. We focus on our overall well-beings. Then we become healthier and happier. So be brave to love ourselves!
